Lauren joined KLC in 1986 after working for an established firm of Accountants in Oxford UK for three years. She was trained and qualified as a practising accountant in the UK and has had extensive experience in Assurance, Tax and Corporate Recovery. She has a high degree of technical expertise in both auditing and taxation. This, together with her understanding of business customs and practice in both HK and the UK, enables her to provide considerable support and assistance to clients, particularly in start up situations. She specializes in manufacturing, retail and apparel industries. Lauren also has extensive insolvency experience; cases to note include the liquidation of a multi-national group with businesses in Hong Kong, USA, France, Japan, PRC and Singapore, and a listed company with businesses in Hong Kong, Macau, PRC, UK, Germany and USA. Lauren was a council member of the Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors during 1999/2001. She is a registered Insolvency Practitioner and Appointment Taker under Administrative Panel of Insolvency Practitioners for Court Winding-Up (APIPCW) of the Official Receiver's Office since 1996. She is the engagement partner of audit of all listed companies, and acts as a Non-Executive Director of UK listed companies.
